For a long service life these nail nippers are hot-forged from stainless steel and then manufactured in a traditional way. The cutting edges are manually adjusted so that they close precisely and cut the nails cleanly. When it comes to nippers, "precise closing" actually means that the two cutting edges initially only meet at their very tips, while a small column of light remains to be seen between the rest of the cutting edges. The cutting edges close completely from top to bottom, once slight pressure is being applied on the handless. So you can cut your nails cleanly without squeezing them.
Thanks to their total length of 135 mm and the resulting leverage force, these nail nippers are also well suitable to cut even thicker toenails easily.
The robust wire spring, which re-opens the nippers after cutting, can be exchanged easily in case it breaks after a longer period of use. Replacement springs are available from this shop.
